The priests at Blessed Trinity will be available for confessions this Saturday, April 4th from 2:30pm to 3:30pm and from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.
We did just fine last Saturday with confessions outside at three locations: the overhang at the school, the Church portico and the overhang at the Parish Hall.
You can drive in from 17th Street and stay in your car or sit in a chair. The chairs are spread out.
You can drive in by the Parish Hall overhang (which is normally a one way out and stay in your car).
Or you can park in the large Church parking lot and walk to anyone of the three locations – sit in a chair and keep moving up from one chair to the next until it is your turn.
It works out fine.
Next week, Holy Week, we will have added times for confessions.
You can also call the Church office for confession by appointment.
“In case of physical or moral impossibility in which a person cannot personally go to confession to a priest, according to the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Code of Canon Law, a person is to make an Act of Contrition with a sincere desire to go to confession as soon as it is possible” (CCC 1484; CIC 960).
